Also scored a Rolleiflex 3.5E for $100 off CL, it has a stuck shutter but looks like KEH should charge me over $200 (+shipping) to get it fixed. Came with original booklet(s) and a price list from 1958 tucked in one. ANNNDDD a leather case. Its preeettteh. Has a lil' paint rubbed off on one corner and that shutter issue but other than that.. yyyyyyyupp!

I've been back in Alaska (this is my home and will always be) since Dec 18th. I was supposed to leave the 19th but extended my stay.

Why bother going back to Florida when all I'd be doing is twiddling my thumbs. I'm job hunting.

Who isn't?


I need a job job to hold me over while I get my studio/gallery up and running in this wonderful economy.

Thankfully I have the support of all my friends and my family. (Reluctantly some may be but regardless.) I manage to get about one paid shoot a week. It barely gets me by, so is the life of an artist.

Ben is my partner in crime photo-wise and Kittie, who is always mentioned and linked to on here or commenting on one thing or another, are my limbs. I love them dearly. Sadly I can not really count JP as a partner but he is a great friend.. to bad he's leaving us. I need to learn landscapes from him. lol


Ben will probably end up being my business partner, and Kittie will be my assistant/secretary/keeper. I've been workin on my business plan on and off this last week so I have done enough thinking on it.

I'm just rambling on to give all of you updates.

I talked to my ex from the relationship that ended in september for the first time since then about... 3 weeks ago or so. It was strange.
I do miss him like crazy but I'll never tell him.

Freelance editing has slowed down a ton so as I said a few lines up 'I get by.'

I like a few people up here, just think I miss sleeping next to someone and feeling wanted more so than anything. I know I have a few people missing me in FL. Being those friends or people who want to be more than friends.. (Funny how they come out of the woodwork when your are LEAVING...)

uh. I have to go back in to the girly doctor soon to check on my abnormal cells again.
Should do that next month. *raises glass* Here's to hoping they healed themselves. *tosses the glass back*
